In this crucial role,
you’ll play a key part in safeguarding our client’s natural resource extraction operations by preventing costly corrosion damage. You’ll utilize your expertise in corrosion control practices to:
Conduct thorough and accurate corrosion inspections of plant equipment using established techniques.
Analyze inspection data to identify potential corrosion issues and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Select and advise on the application of suitable coatings and linings for optimal corrosion protection.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement effective corrosion control measures.
Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance plans to minimize corrosion risks.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in corrosion control technologies and best practices.
AMPP Certification (minimum Level 2 preferred) in a relevant field (e.g., Painting Inspector,
Coating Inspector)
Minimum 2 years of experience in corrosion control within the natural resource extraction industry
Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, inspection techniques, and coating applications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
